THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
-
Presentation
You present for between 5 and 10 mins about an area of cyber that interests you. This could be on how ransomware compromises a system, the social engineering employed by cyber criminals or how open-source intelligence has affected recent events. The choice is yours. We want to see that you are genuinely interested in cyber.
-
Questions
We will ask you some questions around your presentation and the services that you indicated that you would like to deliver so that we can gauge your current knowledge and ability levels.
-
Conditional Placement
If successful, you will be conditionally offered a place subject to vetting.
VETTING
You will be asked to go through BPSS vetting and subject to this, we will welcome you to the programme.
If you are unsuccessful at any stage, we are happy to provide feedback and if you are just a little too early in your cyber career journey, you are welcome to reapply next year.
ELIGIBILITY
- Want to have a career in Cyber after University.
- Be in full time education.
- Have more than 11 months left in education – due to the length of the application process, vetting and then training, any less time than this will not allow you to experience the full benefits of the programme.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
We welcome applications from those with disabilities and would be happy to discuss reasonable adjustments.
